There is little to no support for women who are bullied for being born thin due to the media’s false acclaim that thin bodies are superior. Too many people are still under the impression that being thin comes with some sort of v.i.p pass through life. Reality check; “Eat a sandwich” “You’re just a bag of bones” “Your legs are like twigs” “Do you even eat?”
This is still bullying, and it weighs just a little more heavily than being called fat, because when you’re born thin, you cannot gain weight. Over weight people have the option to lose it, but thin people have no option but to “get over it”
Why is there support for an overweight girl, but none for a thin girl? Because the media has lead you to believe that being thin is a good thing?
If this was the case why do we have millions of girls suffering low self esteem when all women, whether big or small should feel as beautiful as they are? What it all boils down to is that no human being deserves to feel ugly or undesired. No human being deserves to be insecure.”
Got this off tumblr and it's by far the most relatable thing I've read. Small boobs, flat ass, stick thin legs, chopstick legs, bean sprout, yeah be it as an insult or compliment(I take it as an insult anyway) I get that all the time? All I could do was to laugh it off, stuff myself silly with food in hope to puff up a little and hate how I look every single day after that hahahahaha man nobody will ever know how much this stings...sigh fuck off
