Stayed awake for 23 hours the day before because I had to finish everything up and boy am I glad I did! Parents dropped me and Bt off at SAM at 8Q and everything went spiraling up from then onwards.
Had a little hiccup while arranging my items on the table…But it ended okay I guess? Bt walked around and said my booth actually looked really good compared to the rest he he :') (it was a huge compliment because he hardly compliments me art-wise)
Milktea from Pheebs to cheer me on because she knew how hard I've worked for this :')
if you ever see this, Thank You, it warmed my heart and really made my night, love you suhhhh muchhhie pheebs
I took a leap of faith and joined this night market to see if my art could actually sell and if they would be appreciated by the public.
It was an eye-opener, the sales definitely went way beyond my expectations. Sold 39-17=22 notebooks, 18-2=16 packets of button pins, 9x2=18 pot baby pins, 4-2=2 framed prints and all 7 tees completely! Met so many lovely strangers and instagramers who share the same taste in art as me, it was amazing. Also the friends who came down to support me both financially and spiritually, it definitely opened my eyes to these friendships and brought them to a whole new level and are now safely locked in my heart.
Also, this man above, who was with me throughout this event despite being sleepy, constantly cheered me on. My parents, who had gone the distance just to make sure I'm well equipped for this night market… I don't know what I've done to deserve such great amount of love from these amazing people in my life. But one thing I do know now is that I am certain with who I should keep close to heart, and who I should not.
Thankful, truly am.
What an experience.
